When you hear the word vacation, what comes to your mind?
Some people think about going on a trip for two weeks, away on some Island or simply just relaxing somewhere out of town and not doing work. Some people would think about only the bad side. How much it will cost them and money that they would have to pay.
When I think about a vacation, I would normally think about leaving Jamaica and going to a place I saw on the Television like the Big Apple(New York, USA) or The Sunshine State (Florida, USA).
I remember telling my friend that I don’t want to wait until I’m old to travel the world. He then, replied by saying, “Have you really explored where you’re living? Have you been to the Bob Marley Museum, Chukka Cove or visited the Art Galleries in Jamaica?”
After thinking about it for a good three minutes, I realized that I really didn’t know much about Jamaica or even how some of the attractions looked. I was embarrassed to know that I was actively willing to leave my country that is considered one the top vacation spots in the Caribbean, to visit elsewhere.
Jattractions will give you a personalized experience into the local attractions of Jamaica.
I thought, I was the only one who was like that, but after talking to a few friends, I realized how bad it was.
One friend told me that he has been to thirteen countries in the last two years but have never been to Dunn’s River Falls. By the way, Dunn’s River is one of the most popular attraction in Jamaica.
Can you just imagine the ones that are not popular? Some don’t even know they exist.
Hopefully, with the help of my website, YouTube channel and Social Media Links (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, GPlus, LinkedIn, Tumblr) there will be no such ignorance.
